Simple program upload with microSD card

When you are done programming, you download the fountain show program, which will be a single file with “.nan” extension. You copy this file on the microSD card supplied with the fountain controller, and plug it into the master. That’s it, plug and play.

30 Minute Show Lengh

The show you design can be even 30 minutes long. This would sound like eternity if you wanted to program an old-school PLC, which generally have no more then a few minutes of play. The show you design will be repeated in a time window, which you can specify. Also, you can add an optional delay between the replays.

Test drive all nozzles

We found it helpful to have a single switch to turn on all nozzles temporarily. It saves time during installation, a quick way to locate issues, and may be a godsend upon handover. Physically, the Master fountain controller unit has dedicated in/outputs for a 3-way switch. The fountain is either in the normal AUTO mode, in MANUAL which is the test mode explained above, or in STANDBY mode.

Integrated Relays

We replaced the old school relays with small but powerful solid-state switches, and put them directly on the board, so there are no external components required to control the nozzles. (24V AC, max 2A)
Also, as these integrated switches have no moving parts, thus they have a longer lifespans.

Music Playing

The NanoMagic Master 22 & 30 fountain controller comes with music support. Upload an mp3 audio file named music.mp3, and it will start playing synchronously with the show every time it starts (or restarts as it plays in a loop). You can adjust a starting offset in the NanoMagic Fountain Controller Show Editor, so that you can tune in the music start perfectly with the water show.

Device Activation For Payment Enforcement

After you have delivered the fountain, unfortunately it is often not the pressing issue for clients to pay you. To help give them some motivation, NanoMagic comes with an extendable activation mechanism. It can be unlocked for a specified interval between 1..254 days, or unlocked forever. So, upon delivery, you may want to unlock the controller for 30 days. You may even want to extend it for a couple of weeks when the client promises to pay in chunks. Then unlock it finally when you are fully paid.
